Hi

I have a sharp vz 2000e which has developed a fault with the record player.

It plays on both side but only a small portion of the record and then seems to stick

at the same place and wont play to the end,do you think it is likely to need a belt change or stylus or is it something more sinister.Any help with this would be gratefully recieved

Very likely to be a slipping belt I think.

many thanks ,sorry im fairly new to these ,does it just have the 1 turntable belt

I think the VZ2000 has one belt for the turntable. If you look through the forum I think there is a PDF of the schemtic to help you take it apart and replace the belt.
