Right here goes, please try not to laf haha.  I put a 6.3mm jack into my rc-656 so i could connect it to my external speakers an just test it out as u do.  When taking the 6.3mm jack out it snapped and the bottom part got stuck inside, i could not believe what had just happen.  

I undid the back and had to de-solder the jack socket because i just could not get the broken bit out and i tried everything an i mean everything.  Once de-soldered i got two small wires and soldered them where jack socket was so the speakers worked.

What I need is another 6.3mm jack socket and i dont mean the type you get from maplin, they wont do the job, does anyone know where to source this part pls, i want my pride an joy back to how she was, any help appreciated guys, I know alot of u hav probably had issues with ur boxes and u know my pain, help!!!! haha, but you no summut i wouldn't be without my ghetto blaster, best thing i ever did start to collect.

i sugest you aquire an old hifi..and take the socket from there...you can't realy get these parts new anymore

ha ha yeah i seen the reel tape mate, very cool as it happens my girlfriend has just bought me 12 eagle reel tapes from ebay shop tapeline, they really look the part in a box, they can even make a shite box look cool

yes that's the ones, they are only 15 mins long but still look the part, check your pm's mate

I got a box of those eagle tapes too from the same seller!...not much use but cheap and look bloody good!...and I'm a Mancunian (at least I was for the first 3 months of my life)...and I have a RC656...the coincidences keep rolling in!
