I'm working on a 931 for someone and the gear/cog in the function switch is cracked. Has a fix been determined for this? I see in some old posts that Lasonic no longer has the part. Looks like a Misaki brand switch. I read that member oldschool69 may have had an idea on repairing it. Any information is appreciated!

There is a post on boomboxery where a member cut the metal where gear is located and used an adhesive glue to put gear back together and it worked. But I think if you can desolder you could take switch of board and take it apart without cutting it. I guess gear usually only cracks in half. Good luck!!

I have the tools to remove it. We'll see how it goes.
