Hi guys,

I have reached my goals, All as I have wanted Is to play this kind of thing in my boombox :

USB Cassette MP3 Player

I can do Play, pause, stop, eject and its all whats I wants. fast forward, rewind and record still doesn't works. I do have other gear problems I think. But who cares with this type of cassette...

Here is the photo of my spare printed gear, It was printed in PLA in an Ultimaker printer, as you can see the quality is not perfect :

I have also included my *.stl 3d, with the correct 20° angle (thanks Virgil) model in attachment for those who need it.3d PLA Printed gear [ultimate maker printer)

Did you have to drill the center of the gear? I printed one and drilled the center out a bit but I made it off axis I'm going to print another this week and use a drill press to get a perfectly straight hole. Also I spent 2 hours in the design lab at my school with the lab coordinator and made a new ff/rw gear. Its not exact but it seems to work. Will post pictures and files when/if its a reliable solution.

Wow, well done ! Im looking to print some new side panels for one of mine. Have been looking at various 3d printers and scanners for this type of thing although I need to sell a few bits and bobs to fund the purchase.. I have no clue as to what machine to get. Right now I'm still doing my homework. I have seen one that has a built in 3d scanner which I thought may be a good all in one solution but I don't want to buy something that isn't as good as it appears.

As for the sd card tape above, I have one of those. Works well for testing the heads if the belts are broken, the bluetooth version is just as good too.

Are u sure this is the orange one? I've print one but it doesn't fit!

It seems to be the bigger one!

Thanks!

Hi yes this is the larger one, I don't think anyone has reproduced the smaller one, I just used a standard plastic gear and modified the centre to fit.

Is the image the one you need?

Downloaded the file and right clicked on it and I got this option in windows 10 ultimate (  3D print with 3D builder )  so what printer to I need to get to make this work to print these 3 gears?  can somebody make 3 of the larger Orange gear?

Well, but I need the little one and I don't know where to find here in Italy. Do you know the model or the project?

I already have the big one from your file!

thanks
