Hi guys,
I just received this awesome little Philips Roller D8007 through the post today, wrapped in bubblewrap and put in a jiffy bag! 
As I unwrapped it, there was a horrible rattling sound, so I unscrewed the back and this part was floating around inside. 
Anyone know where it goes, please?

On the tuner PCB on the left. Looks like it's been ripped off the PCB too. Should be some mounts to fit the ferrite core back onto.
As to where the wires go... no idea.

Yep. It`s a piece, of the ferriite antenna (aerial).

Cheers guys. I guess I'll put it in the plastic clips on the left and try and stick the wires somewhere until it works. Silly question but is it an important piece?
It is important for AM reception, only. Don't just stick wires somewhere, you may do more damage. Look for holes in the pcb where the wires were soldered to the pcb.
