Anyone try these? Same size as the M9990 speakers. M9990 speakers I got has some rips from being brittle. http://www.electronix.com/watt...ker-ohm-p-13518.html

They look fine to me. Chrome centres aren`t as big. Only problem with the 9990 speakers, as well as the jvc rc838 speakers, is, the colour fade.

Thanks litfan. Yeah mines is faded too! A month ago there were over 20 in stock, now there's only 4, they must be going to boomboxes since it would make no sense fitting them in home cabinets.

i might be wrong but i thought the 9990 speakers were 4 ohms,

Driptip, stockers are 6 ohm 3W. M9994 is 2.5 ohm 5W.

wow thanks for the info SITMAN, so maybe a 4ohms speaker should sound louder right?

From what I understand is lower the ohms the louder it is but your amp works harder.
