Cassette adapter in boombox??

blutmadchen - 2013-06-14 13:53

Can you use a cassette adapter in a blaster? I've been wanting to hook my ipod up to my sharp wq272 for a while as my sharp has no RCA input jacks!! I don't want to spend too much and I want to record tapes from my ipod and I want the tapes to have decent sound quality. If so, what cassette adapter would you recommend?

Fm transmitter is a good solution

I agree with Stereomad Stick to using an FM transmitter. Really cheap and no clunking around with the cassette deck

Whole alternative solution if you got the space: Buy a cheap home cassette deck (Those with HX-Pro, 3 motor and Dolby C are the better and newer ones), Record your cassette on that, and then use those cassettes in your box. That's how I do it ;3

Problem solved!! Thanks for the advice. I just copped a little battery operated Scosche universal FM transmitter for $13 and it works great and the sound is truly remarkable. No muffled bass or static like a typical FM radio station, just pure sound. I was hesitant at first because of the limited transmitting frequencies of the device and I'm in Baltimore. I set it to 107.1 and it sounds like the music is coming directly from the ipod!

UMM OK. Why does your link redirect to a Suzuki auction website? That has nothing to do with the subject.
