"if it is not broke don't fix it "
fellow members I have a m70 it is fully working
when I hit play on the cassette deck it play's fine yet for a brief moment it take a second to play at full speed I have someone who does my repair's
I don't know if this issue calls for a service or if I should wait until the belt fully fails

They are relatively simple to do belts on this deck so I'd redo them, give it a spring clean and relube the springs and whatnot.
By the way its an m70 not an m90

####thanks I called a guy to fix it, he has to see if he has the right belts for it
is there only one type of belt for the m 70?

I'm not sure but yes i think all are the same. I just collect a load of different belts and use what I have. No problems so far.

Hey Soundboy
The chart calls for a FRM 9.6 and a SCY 7.0. So two belts. There was a place in Toronto out near the airport that sold them but it was slim pickings when I went hunting.
You'll have better luck online or even try DocP. He actually rescued my M90 belt search!
