Hi, I want to be able to have a boombox or similar plugged into the mains and to automatically play track/s when mains power is switched on and to go off when power is switched off without having to switch the box on/off manually. Please can anyone tell me if they all will do this or some/none will do this. Thanks.

Most will do. Some modern ones won't.
