The differences in the Marantz PH 32 and Marantz PH 52 are as follows:
Both units are made up of four components. The components are Tuner, Amp, Cassette Deck and Speakers.
The PH 32 has a Stereo Tuner with an old time radio dial with a pointer. The pointer moves side to side by turning a knob. The tuners model number is ST 326. the remaining components are the PM 326 Stereo Amp, SD 326 Stereo Cassette Deck and finely the two speakers, LS 326 a 2 way bass reflex speaker system. All are bound together with a metal plate on each side of the three main components. The speakers hang on the outside. Topped off with a removable handle that attaches to the metal plates and holds the speakers in place. The handle unclips and the speakers can be removed.
The PH 52 has a different tuner. The tuner is a ST526, AM/FM Stereo Synthesizer Tuner. The 526 has a LCD display, with what has been described as a "gentle touch" button for tuning. All other components are the same as the PM326.
There are also three colors silver, champagne, and black often referred to as "gold'.
There is a second version of the ph 32 this version has a dual cassette deck. The left deck has Dolby 2.
Well this is all I know, there maybe more and some may be wrong. Any more info would be great.
Obtaining one of these units would be better.
