Hi,

I'm looking for a battery to power a DIY project of mine. The Boombox will be very power hungry and i'm hoping it'll be able to run for a few hours before dying.

I've heard car batteries are a good idea (like the http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1...22XP750&skipvs=T) however i've also been warned of the dangers of short circuiting them.

Another idea i've heard are power tool batteries (like this http://www.batterystuff.com/ba...teries/BSPT9133.html)

Finally i've also found this battery http://www.batterystuff.com/ba...es/lfx14a5-bs12.html which seems good..

If any of you lovely people can help me with my dilemma it would be gratefully appreciated!
