It's bigger than your Lasonic TRC-975, and almost as big as the JC2000 (the biggest boombox ever made).

Hey retro,you missed a VZ2000 on ebay the other day,it needed work on it but it went cheap,pick up only from st helens,not far from you..

I have always been partial to the old school silver boxes, but this is one I can totally get used to!

OMG, for a second then I read JC2000! I was just about to walk out of my front door, and step into the road in front of a moving car!! I'm glad it was a VZ2000. I wanted one of those a while back but have gone off them now. A clearance shop in Warrington has one for sale. Andy,this box is humongous,i mean stupid big..i walked up to my mates shop with it a while ago,and people were nearly crashing there cars while staring..it made me feel uncomfortable,i felt like britains No1 most wanted...

It has VU lights above the speakers,and VU lights between the cassette decks,(check L.LOPEZ avatar) I think the bass speakers are either 8" or 10"..if you go on youtube,there`s videos on there that you can watch..also you cantype do the right thing,you`ll see radio raheem walkin down the road with one..

Gettoman that is a GORGEOUS boombox, I love mines and the speakers are 8 inches, the flashing lights is off the chain, Gorgeous chrome all over, And I just cant keep my eyes off this big beast of a boombox, It's even bigger than the Conion C-100F.

Gettoman good to see with one of the big boys. Its not a bad sounder for the quality.

i guess its not called a jumbo for nothing- a 747 would pale in the shadow of this thing

As a dedicateed collector you definately deserve that box! I know how you feel when carrying it around. The reaction is really unnerving but you'll get used to it. Just imagine if you went to Manchester city centre with it on a saturday.
