for some reason you can go for weeks with out finding a single box and you get that need just to find some thing

well i missed out putting up what i found last week so here's two weeks finds in one thread

last week i found a jvc pc30 and a saisho pm101p -a sharp wq 268e at the dump

the last week at the carboot - i found a clean jvc pc 90 (the week before i found the bigger version pcw100) and a little toshiba rt4070

last sunday at the car boot i found two there - GF 1760 - nice and clean - and a saisho pt550 -clean and working

at the dump i found a qt27 bashed door no battery cover - a philips d8334 (just the same as the one i had but it's missing a handle if any one has a spare ? and one i've not hear of before - heavy and a load good sound ! it's a LLOYTRON v168ls ?

also my father in law to be picked up a DS30 - bit more 90's but it's not bad - now if only i can get him to find a 777

but i also saw my compation there - a bloke called adam - he has a contract to get all the electric gear i do know him and cool to talk to - as long as i don't get what he wants - i saw some boxes go in the back of the van and saw one that i liked - cost me a fiver to get it from him, a D8634 - With a bit of extra glam as you can see from the photo's - checked and it will all come off - great big sound and bloody heavy

also got call before the carboot from a mate (bit bloody early mate as i was asleep )but it was worth it as he picked it up for me for £5
turns out to be a philips D444 - all works but doesn't seem to go that loud - is this the case with all or with a good clean inside it might pick up a bit more ???

I would hazzard a guess the weather and what time of the month has to do with what i pick up

if the weather is dry and not too bad - people tend to clean out garages/ sheds and so - too hot and they go to the coast - to wet and no work done

it's like that at the carboots as well - but near the end of the month, money is low and so any old rubbish is being put out to try and sell - and that with a 80's flavour this year - all things 80's are selling

well i got number 54 which is a JVC 770 and then a mate called me up to say that he had a toshiba 7016 (silver) for me - sweet 55

steve the mate collects hifi gear and radio controlled cars - i collect bmx bike and boxes - so it made sence to do a deal with him to collect each others stuff for each other and only sell it to each other for the price we paid - so if he picks up a bmx for £10 ~ i pay £10 for it - if i pick up a hi-fi amp for £5 then that is what he pays - this way what ever it is worth we only pay what it's picked up for and not try to make any off of it, as then it's two pair of eye looking in different places
