can't say price at the mo - the guy who is getting and saving them for me, use to fix and mend them for a living, so i guess a double bonus, that i can get it fully working as well - but it's a M70

good man, b - keep me informed mate. well its not all doom and gloom for me, been to carboot this morning, picked up a grotty condition panasonic rq-511s for a quid, and a slightly better nick panasonic rx-1750le with a sqew wiff cassette door and no aerial for £3.50.
the owner of the first one said he has a garage full of these old radios as he calls them, including twin speaker ones etc. so im gonna go and have a nosey around in there some time.
by the way b- dont forget to post some of your quality pics when your m70 docks with you. cant wait to see it in more detail.
