Hey guys, I just got this recently and it's the technics sa-c07 in brown. You guys know it in that cool silver, futuristic colour but it also comes in warm, dark wood, brown....here is a pic for you to gander at..I'll post more better pics of it

lol...the technics sa-c07 is my favorite box of all time....to find this thing in brown is like finding ""the crown jewel"" for me... I wanted one when I was 12 years old and to find one in this color well...you get the picture , sinister

damn dude , i cant believe yours runs on batteries and ac , i have one and it only runs on ac power , it draws 215 watts of current too ,thats a bad a$$ box you got there.

thanks pioneer and jvc floyd about the responses...this particular model is from japan...the fm is the old japanese one where it goes to 90 mhz only...this unit does take batteries but a battery pack...the other thing is this unit is rated 20 watts a side...the north american version is 30 watts a side and needs the dc adaptor for operation in a car ...here is a link about the sa-c07 for the japanese marketsa-c07

good question ,mono I know they also come in short wave ..that''s the sa-c07s and its the regular dial tuning..I think another member had one here with the short wave one and that to is in brown...but if there is one in black, I think that will be another conquest for me
