Dammit dude,i had one of them back in the early 90s,it was made by hira,never saw one before and never saw one again,been looking for one again for years and years,but none..mine was the same as that but where you have your tweeter,mine had just a bass port..i sold it dirt cheap,i tried tracking the guy down who i sold it to but i`ve had no luck,i remember the VU lights being multi colour e.g red,yellow and green...

Pioneer..you know that box in the back ground in your avatar,is it yours ? if it is can you post up a pic of it ? that looks like a decca sound box that i had in the 80s,mine was more of a brown colour,it had V shape VU meter..how does yours sound ?

Glad u like it gettoman,the color of the VU is the exact same to the one u owned.MultiColor.I use Around christmas for that reason those light's they are cool,mostly kept on display in plastic.hope you find the hira/Mona. thank's gettoman.
Your MONA MS-2030 looks neat, PIONEER. A clean,
all-steel or all-chrome look. Now, it COULD have
been a shortwave-tuner, too (
)...
Ah, well, handy tape counter, in any case. And plenty of extra controls ("Stereo Muting/Mono Off," "Select: Source/Tape," etc.).
Hi EastHelp yes with shotwave that would have made the perfect box,well for me anyway's would have enjoyed that feature. Not sure if there was ever one built? but in canada the Mona Also came in matte black finish.
