Everything works great except the tape deck doesn't work. There is some wear to it too but hey for $30 I ain't complaining.

I have the same model (bought new, on clearance in 1998 or 1999). Great box (especially for 30 bucks!).

I barely used my tape deck, but it broke as well. Mine had a mechanical issue which I managed to fix somewhat (still not reliable and gets stuck on occasion). Definitely the weak link on these beasts.

Mine mostly sees iPod duty (through the aux jack). Makes a great bedroom system.
