Last Saturday on the big tourists flea.
Nearly impossible to find a nice boombox there.
Really a overhunted area.
This day i came very late, 10°°.
At this time everything interesting is nearly sold out.
Or?
Wow, what´s this big black thing on the table?
It says SUPER WOOFER + SUPER JUMBO
How much for it?
15euro?
Take it.
After walking a few meters, the seller ran after me.
Hey, forgotten to give you the power cable, here it is.
Oh, thanks...
here after a first clean up:
and incredible: fully working!
Thats beside the AMSEN, HELIX and the VZ 2000 a really flea - highscore
Usual they are sold as TEC, but LEVIS was very popular in austria.
So they also branded this one
For the size it´s a really lightweight.
Perfect for carry around
Also connections for line in!
The only thing i dislike, are the faked VU´s.
They are only flashing all together.
But fun anyway...
Booming now on the next party....
very nice
i have the exact same unit, only mine is the tec version.
i have just noticed one difference between yours and mine, yours has the karaoke function on it, where as mine has the equalisers right across where the karaoke is on yours, strange.
i would also like to add that i love the led,s on mine, they are sound responsive, the louder the music, the brighter the lights...lovely
And the best: getting myself!!!
Because so the poor TEC ended up:
smashed TECshipping sucks...
ah yes, i remember your story now of the tec
this makes the find all the more sweeter
aahh.............dont you just love that....finding something of quality on a market......................great

construction like this sucks much more,i think:]
I would fix it with simple epoxy glue.
well id,e say the best glue around is called LOCTITE
it,s relatively cheap, available in most supermarkets, corner stores, e.t.c. and it will bond almost anything in seconds, it,s a watery glue but don,t let that fool you
i got it between my fingers one time and they was completely stuck together for about 20 mins till i managed to part em
id,e say it,s the best adhesive for almost anything, especially plastics
I will do my best to get it also working.
Before repairing it need a few work on the cables.
Then i will try to glue the broken speakerholders. Adding a bit epoxy around to make it stronger.
Lead me to these Vienna flea markets you frequent PLEASE!! What a great find.
