AIWA CA-W70
Philips TR 3843 Super Tandem
Philips AW 7502 Turbo Bass Generator
Philips D2604 Power Booster
Gold Star BF-1006 Solid State
A real minty Panasonic RX-C36L with original sticker
looks like someones having luck in the wild
i like the super tandem and the aiwa best out of that lot, congrats SAMSNITE
The Power Booster looks cool
.
i had one of those tandems when i was young - i have a soft spot for them
cool collection
thanks guys! I would not call it much luck, its all i got this spring and summer... really really poor i think, not much to choose from. The Aiwa is big but a poor performer, the eq rescues it from the pits. The Philips D2604 Power Booster is cool, sounds quite ok for a small radio. The Philips TR 3843 Super Tandem is a looker but i dont really like anything else. The Panasonic has the best sound of this lot, a decent sound too (thanks to eq:ing).
The working Philips AZ8140 i collected from a dumpster.

Ahh only just noticed this thread, good machines man,i used to have one of those Aiwa ca70,it sounded ok,but they sound alot better if you changed the bass, the amp is alot beter than what them bass can give..change the bass for a set of decent ones and you will be plesantly surprised..
oh and the Rx C36 sounds nice for its size, nicer than you would think
ok thanks for the tip, G. Yes the panasonic is sure decent.
OOOH almost forgot this marvellous DISNEY radio:
