I posted this pic already in the tech section (thread about driver retrofits), so thought I'd put it here too. You can see (just) a Conion C-126, and there's my PC-55. And the star of the show, the GF1000 sporting some fresh Fosgate drivers.

Awesome GF-1000 Fin's. Even better with new speakers. Bet the bigger magnets made it even heavier. And welcome back btw

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments! I'll post some more collection photos here soon, and a better pic of the GF1000 - just realized that angle makes it look smaller than it is (can't have that)!

Aww, shucks...thanks Kennedy!! I will say it's the first box people gravitate toward when I'm showing my collection.

While I'm enjoying the speaker upgrade, I will admit the new silver woofers don't show nearly as well through the grills - the white (originals) really pop nicely through the blue grills. So these days my 1000 lives nekked!

Man I want to take that GF-1000 home with me!! Those woofers look really good!

Wow fin that 1000 looks nice... coincidentally i wanted to do that to mine at one time before i sold it...i wanted either to get like grey speakers or paint them that way...or blue ones like yours....though i do like the factory ones they come with...but that looks nice as well especially with black caps...i regret selling mine a whole lot....i will get it again one day....

And thanks retro - yep, I went into occasional lurker mode for quite awhile...started a new business, and a new job, spare time took a back seat.

Fresh - This is the only speaker upgrade I've done. Don't think I could afford to do many more - just this one cost me $200 for the speakers!

isolator - No woofer bars on the GF1000 to remove!!
