I have just spent a while studying this thread from the beginning. It has some incredible collections in it but I saw so very few Aiwa's and Toshiba's. I guess their time had not yet come..... Could it be that WE are making certain brands if not actual models fashionable?

This is the only one I have so far,  for I am starting my collection very soon once this beast comes back from servicing. I am Having the LCD lamps replaced as well as the tape deck section head is having one channel intermittently cut out. Records just fine I am thinking its a loose wire under the assembly.

Lasonic TRC-935  

     Thanks   In Lasonic's I drew or draw the line at nothing larger than a 931 as I am interested in.   

     So, after witnessing my own Lasonic TRC-931's and how they performed.

I found out that the bigger box and Larger number in this series does NOT get any better in sound  

     In my opinion anything including the (931 big an loud - but that is all there is, about this unit), than the smaller model's like the 920 920T & 918 and specificly the 3-piece model sound much better than the larger 935 975 and what ever else models they had.

Man, that Technisonic is looking mighty sweet :-)

and the Technisonic TC-999 by Conion is a 3 way speaker system per channel compared to the C-126F Midrange & woofer combination as behind where it says ( superjumbo 60 ) behind the grill and then behind that is the hole for the tweeter's that your c-126F does not have. 

      There is a nother model out there that does not have a midrange but has the tweeter with woofer and no mid-range speaker, funny!

Only the Gold model has 3 speakers per channel,  Just so you can know

Thanks for that tip James. This radio along with some others I'd like to add to my collection. I started off with one boombox and now I can't stop. This boombox addiction is hard
