've been after this model for a few years now and I've never seen one in the U.S.
So I figured I would make a post in the "wanted" section of the forum and Blasterpunk contacted me and said he had one he would sell me,I was very happy.
We made a deal and after a few months Peter sent me this ultra rare "in the U.S. anyway" Aiwa TRP-300A.
He actually got two for the price of one. He sent me this minty TPR300 and a rougher condition TPR300 for parts as the minty one wouldn't power up.
So I took the two 300's and made one fully functional one.
All I can say is WOW!!!! What great sound for a mono.
It all works now and sounds great, very impressive.
It is built very well and it has 2 way speakers with separate bass and treble.
I wanted to say Thank you very very much Peter for setting me up with A mono grail I've wanted for a looong time.
Peter packs so well,I couldn't believe the care he took packing these gems up for me.
I really appreciate it.
Thanks Peter!
With my Aiwa CS660H.
Both of those are very nice lookers. What is that orange light above the meter for?
Thanks Reli!
The orange light is a tuning indicator.
It lights up when you are tuned in on a strong station. Kind of like a stereo light does.
Looks like a quality unit, congrats. What are the dimensions of the woofer?
Thanks Retro!
The woofer is an oval one. It measures about 7" x 4.5".
very nice little mono SKIP, but i love your 660 much more
