Yesterday i got a JVC RV-DP200. It was too cheap to leave and now i have three boomblasters/kabooms.
This one got more features than my other models. There is a simple rhythm machine and drum pads.

It's so ugly that i like it somehow. There are scratches and the stickers are damaged. Maybe i will try to save them, what do you think? Should i remove them?
Anyone know how old this model is and what are the differences between this and DP100 for example?
great machine to own , muto
2 diffs i know about are the colors and the
meters that the 200 has -
the 100 has no meter

If i had such JVC, i'd like to offer you a competition - DIY, but 80's, classic looking bbx body with the stuff from this Kaboom inside:]. 4 speakers, CD, programmable radio, tape, AUX, unusual, but very nice meters, tuner window with lights, remote and wow - drum machine - what else needs a boomer? Only classical stylie:] (IMHO, off course).
If compared with ordinary Kaboom, how's the sound? Is it possible to add your own sounds to that drum machine?
p.s. i'd remove those stickers.. Looks like a "tribal" tattoo on the woman's from the village butt
. Again, IMHO...
I've got one of these - OTT Kaboom bass & a crazy drum machine/scratch-wheel as well. I use it in the garden, BBQs, etc. The CD player on mine doesn't work & it's a cosmetic disaster. Still love the sound, though & that always comes first with me

This sounds a lot better i think because: custom eq. Listened today my other kaboom with the preset eq's. They suck

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the preset eq really sucks!
This one i have not, but for sure a good one
Have the "blue blinker" and the big kaboom, both are very strong
I have this one as well, along with a dew others, I agree take off the stickers, it looks better imho...
Hi Muto, not the greatest on look's
but the sound quality sure get's respect quick!
