Nice stack james, I hope they don't fall over. I notice one of the M90's has distinctly blue drivers, is that what the original color is supposed to look like?
M90 speakers can be gray, black or blue, it depends on the model, W, JW, L, C...I think that is it?
just truly awesome --
i sorta wish you kept that original remote ?
do you ?
Good gracious! Is it legal to own that many?!?! Isn't there some kinda law over holding that much power in one's houshold? Good stuff guys! Nice!

Oh man Im living in a cave!!!!!!
Hey, MB84 if you want open her up check the edges of the speakers. If you see a faint blue on the front side of the speakers then thats the original color. I know they were available with blue speakers and possibly black but not sure of the gray color. When I got mine they were faded to that paper back color. I checked the speakers and on the tweeters they were a very slight blue on the edge of the front side.
All m90 speakers are meant to be blue, how many times do i have to say it
Nice shots james brings back memories of when i had 5 of these units thanks.

if they are not blue --get a fat magic marker

And ira you should know me by now im always wrong.
Hey Tim, like you I have had my share of M90's. I have seen 3 diff colored woofers and I have a pair I bought from a member here a while back and they are brand new(still super shiny!) and are gray as well...Same part number same everything but the color
rimmer dont be hard on the man
my m90 speakers are black.....
to me - the blue looks best --might be the exact blue from the m50 and m70
masterblaster - 2008-05-25 15:40
In real life the blue really does seem to set the M90 off. Really nice colour imo
peter.griffin - 2008-05-25 20:10
Nice Pic's James!! Did you get a chance to blast them all together at once?
Great photos James!!!
You always come up with great stuff!
I noticed the different colors too, but I really like the original cassette door stickers!
How super nice! I also like the BigBen on the shelf in the back
my first m90 i bought new it has the dark blue woofers ,ive had 4 that had either gray or some shade of blue woofers ,i like the dark blue ones the most it really makes the ole m90 stand out from the crowd .
It would be interesting to find out if all these differently colored speakers are the same shade of blue if viewed from the back.Fading can turn blue into dark gray.I've seen this.If the speakers actually were made in different colors, hats off to JVC.I only wish the shells of classic boxes would have been made in different colors also.
every m90 ive had open the backs of the woofers was light blue even if the front was gray.

Nail on the head, the truth is in there

I'm not sure that the speakers could fade from blue to black?? Maybe to gray, but even that doesn't really seem all that likely to me....just my .02. James' woofers are a distinctly different colour than the three other 90s and they were all in good shape.
