Since a few days i got a fully working M70, it's great I love it and i take it everywhere I go because it's not so heavy and so big as the GF777. The M70 has a perfect size, a little bigger than the sharp GF 9x9x and a little smaller then the M90 or the GF777, it's in the middle between the midsize boxes and the big boxes.

The sound is really natural and clean, i can turn it to max. volume even if the bass is turned on 10 with almost no distortion and without changing tone controls. The Bass is very deep and doesn't sound like plastic. The Speakers seems to be really good, they aren't as loud as the Sharps, but sound much clearer (I testet them on a GF9292) instead of this the M70 has more consumption power so that there is more Volume with lower distortion, the Tuner Unit is really amazing, and the tapedeck sounds very good, but the title search function is a little bit cumbersome (i hope it's the right word, the google translation tool says it).

I got no digicam so I can't make photos but the M70 is in good condition and everything is ok it only could need a new tape belt but that's normal i think. It even is the non european version with cinch connectors, the german version normally has DIN Plugs. I love the Design of the M70, it is nearly perfect, i could look at the unit the whole time and it's the first blaster where I would say that VUs look better then LEDs.

Now I'm checking the sound differences between the GF777 and the M70. I got the feeling that the GF777 has more bass but not as deep as the M70 but I'm not sure at all. Maybe i should test it with a sound test tape. Important is to take them both on the same position, when I use the GF777 it is placed there where the M70 stands before.

OK, the Kickbass is much harder on the GF777 but the basslines are deeper and clearer with the M70 i think. Is there a deeper Bass on the M70? Does anyone know about the speakers? Or maybe is it something with the loudness or the bass slider? have they got other specifications on both units? Maybe sharp wanted a longer battery lifetime so they cutted off the frequencies?

Oh btw: The subwoofer volumes of the GF777 are turned to the mid position, loudness is on, bass is full, treble is full, on the M70 bass is full, treble is mid and loudness is on....
