Tim Taylor's Neighbour? Wilson!
nice avatar
Some really cool 'boxes there.
I'm warming to those Risings now (I always thought they looked cheaply built). The Helix looks fantastic (I particularly like the lower tweeter grilles and the equalizer set to one side, and it looks even better with the reels in the bottom deck), and the Lasonic, well what can I say? A classic design through and through.

Hey Retro, believe it or not but the Rising is more solidly built, heavy and hefty than the Lasonic and Helix put together! It's a TANK! The Helix is actually quite chincy. Very lightweight and the chrome on the handle isn't even metal, it's plastic. I KNOW I couldn't believe it either. It does make for a great LARGE box that is light and portable that also sounds really nice though. I LOVE IT!
^ They are nice boxes 'Charles', I'd love to own one - especially if they sound as good as you described!
