WOW!!!! I like the Crowns and the Aiwa 880..
The Universum Senator is interesting too.
TWO J-1's? !?!?!?!?! Damn I'm jealous. What shape are those puppies in?
Sad thing is that I went to the Hells Kitchen Flea Market in NYC last weekend just because it was goign be so nice out in NYC (65 degrees early afternoon sun), and I didnt see one piece of electronic never mind any boomers.
If either of the J-1 clones are being sold let a brother know.
Busy week!!! Congratulations Blasterpunk.
I would have to build some serious storage space if i could find that many in one weekend !
Congrats Blasterpunk, nice work.
I really like those Philips, very unusual looking.
I love them all
Good job blasterpunk.
Gott im Himmel! I'd be happy finding all those in one year!! Congrats on the new babies Blasterpunk, good to see them find a loving new home.
If you're parting out an M70 please let me know!!
Rock On.

great boxes there peter.
peter --you must now have the s2g record plus the all-time world record
for finding that many high-end collector boxes in that short time --
most ALL are prizes
Daaaaamn! That is a major haul, man!
You found some really nice units there.
How do you do it???
Peace,
Paul Z.
I m happy to found those boxes but there re also missing parts, the 2 philips getting no power, the speaker grill of the Aiwa is damaged and the middlespeaker is missing, the radio of the Rising is not working, the tapedeck of the Crown 980 isnt working, many antennas are broken or missing..... I mean, i dont know what i ll do with all those broken boomboxes. Sure i ll try to repair some of em but for me its not possible, to keep all of them. Most of those models i have already in a very good working condition (you know that).
The M 70 is nice, the ICS 5092 is near mint, the little Sanyo is in good condition.....
If somebody here needs parts or wants to have one of those boxes, please let me know.

Nice collections Peter. To my own surprise, I'm really digging that little blue Sanyo with the 6 speakers.
Allright!
Now what's your address? I need to stow away on a plane and get over there!
Whoaaa, great score peter!
I like them all.
Ok, my favourites all the time is PHILIPS.
The D8714 is awesome!
And if i find any time a 774 i also would save this nice old unit.
When you got it you got it...and you got it...the "magical" touch that is

You did in one weekend what it's taken me a lifetime to do. Nothing like coming home from a flea market with a boffo instant collection. Gigacongratulations!

spud --its a somewhat rare, nifty tosh
--but soundwise it just pretty good --
but no BIG deal
Here is a Video review from a previous member here.
He shows how that model works. Along with a few other Toshibas in his collection.

The reason I am interested is I think I have an extra speaker for that Toshiba model... I will have to check...
