I found this Goldstar TSR-641 while out and about this morning. It all works fine, but it has some wear around the screen printing by the knobs and one antenna is not original. It is pretty well made and sounds nice and its loud. I also found a Panasonic RX-DT780 biamped 3 piece at goodwill. I almost left it behind, but i have one that is in crappy condition. The one I picked up today is pretty nice. I did not get a picture yet. Heres a pic of the Goldstar though.[URL=[URL=http://imageshack.us]
Nice catch Skip!

Oh Skippy why would you buy that horrible P.O.S? Send it to me in one of EU's bags then you don't have to be burdened by it any more.
Just kidding, that's a nice looking box.

Way to go Skip!
I got the same box for 10 bucks from the salvation army thrift store!
Have 2 Goldstars, they are very good performers.
Looks great! I would have been all over that!
nice box man ,i bet its a copy of the panasonic rx 5500 but thats a good thing cos those boxes sound sweet.

Congratulations Skippy! You have a twin!!Introducing the Candle JTR-1286:
Three reasons why I like yours more than mine (but don't get me wrong; I like mine):
1. Yours is bronze.
2. Yours has the name of the actual manufacturer. Mine just has a name (one of many names used by Jutan International of Canada to sell electronics made by someone else).
3. I paid an eBay price (can't remember how much, though). You paid an "out and about this morning" price.
Nice box, Skippy. Enjoy it!
WOW,thats a nice unit BBoomber.

congrat's Skip, how's it sound?
Peter, its sounds pretty nice. I would say it sounds like a Sharp GF8989 or a Panasonic RX5050, you know that class of unit. It's pretty loud too.
Sweet score, I too love that color
That model looks well built
Well, lookee here!
There's a
Candle JTR-1286 on eBay right now. Of course, it's got an eBay price and not an out-and-about-this-morning price.
Still, if a person just
had to have one...
I have the Prosonic version of this box,the pqr9100.It has a nice sensitive line-in with a dedicated switch. There's some weight to it and it is a quality build for an "AKA".The look is classic oldschool.Mine is sort of an olive green color. The highs have lots of presence and the bass is tight (though not as weighty as that of my similarly sized G.E. Blockbuster).
from the database:
Nice one Jovie!
Are you selling this ????? as I am putting 1 and 2 together here in my research ,,, and this is starting to look familier here ....
Goldstar TSR-641 BoomboxWell how about that it is ... its the same picture ,,,, unless ....
