well the shelfs are finished and i found a few old things to put on them.

I really like the way you displayed them, it's very similar to what I had envisioned for my own display. I also want to know how you mounted the shelves, I don't see any brackets or hardware.

i drilled 16mm holes in wall at every 400mm and chem fixed 12mm rods in, and the shelf has 12mm voids in them so shelf slides onto rods

but not even 1/3 as strong as yous

....and btw - its easy to envision a few more rows ---and another 30 boxes!!

thanks oldskool 69, yep im in construction to, it took plenty of time and effort, i even angled the rods up slightly so when the weight of all those old stinky radios are on the shelf came level but i did have my girlfriend to help as you only get 7 minutes before the chem fix starts to set.

yes redbenjoe there is always room for more, but i do have to leave room for a desks and my turntables and other stuff, only going to get about 5 more bbox's

The shelves are good, and the boomboxes even better - very nice!!

A great job with the Shelfs geoff looks really great,a clean tidy look no ugly brackets showing.
Also some nice ghettos on the wanted list a fine collection you have.

Those shelves are a total MUST HAVE... I've been trippin out since you first posted them. We are starting a large home addition soon and when finished I'll have a room for all my stuff, believe me there will be Boxes involved and now probably some similar shelves
