The Panasonic RX-C 52 on top, and the Prosonic PQR-9850. Prosonic was an Ebay grab, and the Panasonic was a Craigslist that was given to me for absolutly nothing. Nice older lady originally told me 15$ but then agreed to just let me have it. Its missing the slider for the mix level, and thats it. Anyone got one? Otherwise its perfect.
Two excellent additions there Petey Awol. The Panasonic looks like it was just taken out of the box! Good luck getting the missing slider.
Also, you ever get around to upping those old radio mp3's to megaupload.com?
Rock On.
ya know what ..i have no idea how to do it...
i did install the latest Soulseek (new server network or something)...so if you have that maybe it will work for us that way..
Soul seek name is - DRELSTAR77 its all lower cased if that means anything ...try it out ..let me know what happened ..
Never heard the Panasonic before, but I know it's on a short list of mini boomboxes I wanna get.
As for the Prosonic, I have one of those and a Trident version... By now, you know that it's a solidly built box - and loud! Too bad the tape decks don't work on any of the ones being offered on eBay (including the two I copped from there).
Congratulations,
Petey!
Nice scores! Especially the freebie from craigslist!
Mono, I originally wanted the Trident version because its the one featured in Do The Right Thing but this one came up so I grabbed it. The Panasonic is nice for its size. Seen it on Craigslist in NJ and said "F*** it, I'll drive to NJ for it." Was glad I did it. Its frigging heavy box for its "mini" size.
Great boxes man, i have 2 of those pana 52's sweet little boxes and those controlls mmm, origionally they were 170 pounds when new.
I like the big Prosonic.
Nice additions indeed!
