I got this nice almost minty RC-M80 the other day. I have wanted this unit for a quite a while. I had a couple of RC-M60's and they are similar ,except for the tuner of course. You can scan stations or tune them with the small manual tuner knob. It has a excellent receiver on all bands including shortwave. I'm getting the tricky tapedeck sorted out and have it mostly working.
I think this unit wasn't used very much as it was super clean inside and out. It's also built like a tank, it is quite heavy. It think it sounds nice, but it has no Biphonic setting. I seems like it Biphonic built in though as the stereo effect is very good.
nice buy , skippy
how many full turns of the little tuning knob to travel the entire fm range ??

Thanks Floyd and Ira!
It takes about 4 1/2 to 5 turns turns to cover the entire dial. You can use the manual tuner for am and shortwave too.Ira..
Hey skippy real nice box, Did you get that from ebay. I was following this one a couple weeks ago and could not believe what it went for($10) even though last I checked it was over $50

It sounds nice and clear Vladi.
It's not a bass machine at all, just crisp and clean. and it has an awesome tuner.
The cassette deck operates similar to the M90.

it dosent sound overly fabulous but it does sound pretty nice.
100% Bill.
