The long-coveted, ever-praised JVC RC-M90 is certainly a gorgeous giant of a boombox (the
"Glamour Shots" by transamguy1977 prove it!). Let me ask a question that probably ten million
others worldwide have asked since 2000(
): did
JVC ever make a "dualie"--a dual-cassette-deck version of the RC-M90, with the second tape deck
able to do (almost) everything the first deck can except record, and with the same size AND quality of speakers AND the same eight-band tuner?
The quick answer to that is "no."
Come to think of it, I don't know if I've ever seen a JVC box with dual cassette.

and a Quickie answer to the Dual-cassette by JVC , is , right here is one
NOT!!!
I can tell you JVC only made the M-90 as a single cassette player back in 83'.
There was a topic a long time ago about such a radio
with 2 cassettes, there was one for sale in a
German auction, but the picture was rather small
and bad so peoples did not know if it was real
or fake

right floyd.
I posted that very same thread.
The only existing M 90 with double-deck was royals 3D-animation.
These two decks were ment to be MD or cd-players tough to make it more modern.
Sadly i can't find a pic anymore
When i think of that auction back then and the seller stating it was real..
kid i think you can find that pic on the last page of the pocket calculater boombox museum ,there are several concept boxes on that page.

right on. thanks floyd i found it
did not thought about the pocketcalcshow-page!
Anyway, this is the one i/we were referring to:
i think that box would look better if the center section was wider ,it looks too crowded together and the woofers need screened grilles ,besides that it looks awesome.
