I am totallly shocked as to the quality of sound from this radio... Here's a few pics... an odd looking box--- but still sounds so sweet...

It has got to be the tube shape just like the subwoofer tubes for your car that produce the great sound

WOW --what a spectacular clean up job you just did !!

when i bought it --about 7 months ago - it was used -
-and then it had become our 'daily driver' ever since then --so it looked very good - but OLDER....

you made it like new--NICE

I saw one that looked a bit like that one except the one i saw had flame stickers on the front of it

Besides the bass, is it alot louder than the C-100?

Thanks Ira.. It was just like you said.. 'like new--with dust' so it was real easy to get like this... except the putting back together..

Hey Gordie,
Definately not louder than the C100... but much cleaner and rich sounding

If I can pry myself away from this one.. I will do a comparison on my M90 next... But for now I just can't stop playing this

WRONG !!!

you were 'supposed to ' want it -- because its the only kaboom series with mid and treble contols

but - agree that those pads are fun/funny

I don't know, I still like the looks of the original rv-b90 better. Using mine right now, got it hooked up to my Mac, streaming an 80's radio station through it.

Glad you like your new Kaboom!I admit all the hoopla over these has peaked my interest at times.What has always put me off trying to get one is the fact that their are even many boxes with proper tweeters that don't have enough highs for me.I'm more of a "rock" type anyway.I like "in your face" mids and highs.Even not taking into account the difference in collectible value,I'm sure I would be listening to a C100 most of the time.that said,i hope to actually hear a Kaboom some time.Perhaps this would change my mind but I don't think so.
