on my way to work a saw this on the sidewalk for the trash so i took it. there were other thinks for the trash a sony tv and marantz receiver. the radio worked but a lot of static on the volume and static did not go away once it was playing. so i open it up and i use a can of blow off contact cleaner and now it plays like new the cassette player works great. now i tryed the tv works but no color it come in and out if i touch the color knob it stays so i opend it up and used the contact cleaner. i cleand it all up put it back together and now works good color stays and looks great. next i will work on the receiver i think it need a fuse one looks black like its blew out i will pick one up tomorrow to see if it works.

I particularly like the '80s Sony portable TV.
Does it have any inputs for audio and video so you can use an adapter and plug a digital reciever in it, so it can still be used when everything goes digital? I have a '80s Panasonic TV which my digibox is plugged into. It's my everyday TV.

i have it plugged up to a dvd player so i think i can do the same way for a digital reciever. and i think i can use the inputs of a vcr the same way
