I'm taking a break from collecting Schwinns and giving this boombox craze a try. I want to thank everyone on here for all the great info provided. It made my choices really no brainers. My recent purchase was from one of the board members (jvcrcm70mpa)who hooked me up with the JVC.

I have a feeling there's more boxes to come...

Lol...Hopefully I'll get into different styles and rarity of boxes as opposed to just sound. I guess one good example would be the Magnavox D8443, which doesn't sound the best(from what I read) but is a cool looking box.

Good job finding two very clean examples there! The Magnavox box actually sounds quite good,especially through the tuner. Certainly they won't be as loud as the M70 but they certainly shout quite loudly.
