Woah, that's a crumper of a machine!
And there's me thinking the D8644 was the biggest.
I definately want one of those!
Big boys need big toys!
I think you are a PHILIPS fan too.
Very pretty box, congrats!
Great looking Philips!
I think this is the little sister of yours:
It also sounds very well...
The sister has a brother

I love those big PHILIPS family!
This one i can hold against your twins, i´ve seen in your collection...
Oh yes , the D8614 , what a beauty
, the microprozessordriven tape deck and the recordlevelmeterled´s are my fav´s on this one .
Classic look, great balanced sound, a tape quality 2 die for ... a Philips.
I love this machine

But the D8778 is still the heaviest Philips made.

must be quite rare in the US. i really like that box bet it has some sweet hi fi sound!
I can only speak for the Philips BB´s i own but the D8778 kill´s
them all , a wooden speakercabinet is worth a million for good sound
.
Now here's a brand Ive over looked!
I really dig these!
Gotta find me one!
Here you can hear and see the D8644 in action , I did this video for Romans Birthday ( its one of his favorite songs he said) but i was 2 slow
.
Enjoy >>>
PHILIPS D8644

This box is a hammer. No question, if i find some day one, i will take it.
And yesterday i tested this song @ the KABOOM.
Sounds amazing....
