It's not bad actually - comparable to Aiwa 950 - although Aiwa sounds better

Nah, after getting the box, I don't believe I'm the first to use it. I wish I was tho. I think it might have been somebody's "display" box at at one time and not really used much 'cause the feet have some paint rubbed off on the bottom... Either that or the previous (original) owner treated this box with the utmost respect.

Your gonna hate for me sounding like a know-it-all, but PLEASE do not run this box off of direct 120VAC.

Use a 120V to 100V converter rated at about 50 watts but no more than 100 watts. As an electrical engineer I can explain more, or just leave it at that...

I know it was said before, but I had to second it to feel better...

It's the only box I use now... Also has the best highs outta any of the boxes I own with no distortion.
