Hi everyone-I just got my GF-767 yesterday.
It was packed like crazy!! It took me 10 minutes just to get it out. That's a good thing!
It was really dirty but after 1 cleaning it's coming along nicely.
Time for the second cleaning-I was getting tired last night.
Everything works including the AMSS & light!
I love this thing-blue dial and all.
The only issue is that there is a small cig burn by the aerial-luckily on back case(near aerial)New rear case someday maybe(Pretty small and it's in a area you don't see very easily)
The speakers are missing their silver dust caps which is kind of a bummer but they are all there and in good condition still(intact) except for the right outer.Torn around the edge.
Are the speakers in a GF-767 different from a 777?
Now I know that there is a variable resistor on the woofers on a 777.Just curious on the speakers.
Both decks work great, just missing door 1.
Over all for the price which was really good!!
I'm happy,a nice project for me.
Needing speakers(w/caps) and a door 1.
The blue grills are there and are in good shape.
Can anyone help on the speakers(even 1 would help) and possibly a tape deck door?
I'd appreciate any assistance on this.
I have a fun weekend project-sound is great for having 1 bad speaker.
Now for more cleaning and time to clean-up the tape decks.
Have a great one-Ghettoboom777.
Hi-Here's a link to the winning auction.
It's looking a little better now but I need 1 speaker and a tape door 1 for a good start to restoring this baby!

That poor fella's been through the wars.
You'll need to make some replacement door hinge pegs for deck 1, looks like some idiot pulled the door off maybe to rescue a jammed tape and snapped them off.
Sad, that the door is damaged.
I hope you will find the missing part to complete this beauty.
Hi guys-Yes-I saw that,I'll make a makeshift knob there somehow-I know it can be done maybe witha little molded plastic and possibly a steel weld or something of that nature.
You know-where ther's a will there's a way.
The exterior cleaned up pretty weel except for the burn on the back case but it's near the ant. and I'll eventually get another rear case or just even possibly do a plastic repair if someone is that good.Definately great sounding with very strong cassettes!!
I'll post pictures as.a.p.
I need 1-2 777 speakers to make a good start.Anyone that can help-let me know-the door might be another issue to get!
Have a great one-Ghettoboom777.
