Very impressive collection indeed.
I'm loving the Crown 950 and the Conion 126, but I wouldn't say no to any of those bad-boys!

youngeratheart2007 - 2008-07-22 01:08
Thanks guys,
I knew you would like em,
I'm from the Netherlands
Wow flutter measurement is carried out on audio tape machines, cassette recorders and players, and other analog recording and reproduction devices with rotary components
Plus it's the name of my expo / soundsystem which will be touring the Netherlands later this year
My repair guy build me transmitter, so I'm able to transmit sounds to any free frequency on 8 of my boxes.
I'm doing a live set with Ableton, a Novation K station and a Kaospad. So I'm using the boxes as a PA/soundsystem for my music.
I'll post pics and vid asap
Great great collection!!
Nice how is the sankei? i see them sometimes but I have never heard one. I was wondering if it was a "sleeper" like sounds better then you would think sort of thing.
Awesome collection!!
You have some real beasty units there! I hope to get big boxes like the J1 and the Crown CSC at some point. The Rising is gorgeous. The Roberts is fantastic, what model is that?? The Unisef is sexy!! I'm loving the red RX-C39 and the TRK-W55!
Thanks for sharing this amazing collection with us!
youngeratheart2007 - 2008-07-23 12:30
I'll have to check out how the Sankei sounds, haven´t listened to it yet, I´ll let you know!
I added one box a SIGMA with keyboard, I´m thinking about trading or selling this one,
If I decided I´ll let you guys know in the for sale section.
Thnx for all compliments guys
Jeetje zeg, nog meer hollanders

niet meteen zo weet
ik denk een stuk of 7
What model is the Roberts, youngeratheart2007?
youngeratheart2007 - 2008-07-24 11:56
I can't tell
Can't find a model number anywhere
Sorry
That's weird, a boombox with no model number printed on it.
Thanks anyway.
youngeratheart2007 - 2008-08-27 00:46
Your show using your boomboxes as the sound system sounds like a cool idea!
Id like to see / hear more about that!
youngeratheart2007 - 2008-08-27 09:56
Yeah,
I'll post a vid, after my first gig.
Keep you guys posted
But the system is a pain in the ...
The inputs on almost all of my Blasters kinda suck
So right now i'm trying to work with a transmitter
I got a strong feeling that the boombox in the tenth image from the top is the German- or Dutch-market version of my old Cougar J-8383-K that I got rid of in, I think, 2001 after I tried to get it fixed via Radio Shack after it just "went dead" in October 2000, shortly before
my parental family moved to a smaller (but nicer!) town. I mean, the "tweeter"-area speaker
cones and the dual, ten-strips-per-side equalizer banks are so similar. It's also the
boombox in youngeratheart2007's avatar
I want that Bagu boombox!!
youngeratheart2007 - 2008-11-12 13:02
Enjoy
I'm really diggin' your collection of Black Plastick Fantastics! but that red Panny really sticks out, it's the Hottness!
Peace,
Paul Z.
