Just when you least expect it, a Sharp GF-9696 crops up...

Just a couple of pics I snapped earlier.





I didn't realise what a powerhouse these machines were, things were a rattling in the room when I cranked it!
This is the 40w version and you'd definitely know it.
Additionally, the cassette sounds top-notch superb high freq detail and rock solid speed stability. Gonna try some recording later via the DIN socket all being well

It's not actually as precarious as it appears although I would be devastated if it fell of course!

Gonna have to find a safer location for pics, it's just handy being near the window I can shoot without the flash and it's associated reflections/glare.

something i never realized about this box untill now they have bass controls for the main woofer like a 777, congrats good job.
