A while back somebody posted scans of National/Panasonic mini boomboxes with matching turntables. ( thankyou whoever that was). I had never seen these small RX models advertised this way and it reminded me that i had a similar National turntable stored away that i had picked up from the recycle centre. So i got my friend to make up a similar shelf to the ones in the scan and i decided to use the RX-C60 for this system and have really been enjoying it

Very nice setup there! I wish my RX-C60 was working right now. Alas, it's on the patient list at the moment.

Thanks for the nice comments . Believe it or not we had just had 2 days of nearly solid rain when i picked up the turntable from the electronics recycle depot and it had been left outside ! A drying out and a new stylus and it worked perfect.
At the time i never realised the connection it would have with my next, and most favorite, addiction glad i got it.
I have a few Technics ones as well SUCCESS but dont think i have seen the SL-5
