THis was a Boombox I brought brand new when it cam at at Macys Union Square San Francisco in the 80's. I busted it trying to "upgrade " the speakers along time ago-D'oh!
Well, a couple of years ago I found another one on ebay.
I got it fairly cheap since the tape deck doesnt work-it runs very slow. Id like to get it fixed if poosible;
Pioneer SK-21;
Nice one!
New belts and cleaning should help.
I like those top-looking scales.
Nice Box it has great sound and pretty loud too. i have the same one.........cheers
I have one of these too jerryjg but the speakers on mine are shot !
I look forward to hearing it one day when i get them fixed.
Good luck on the repairs with yours.

That's cool jerryjg, I had an SK-21 in my teens as well. Not very loud but a cool box anyway.
Jens I paid right around $100 for my SK-21 from Pacific Stereo in 1979/1980.
THAnks mb!
I paid 199.00 for mine, but then, it was Macys, and I had a credit card. lol.
I picked it cause you could max. out the volume and the speakers still wouldnt distort.
All the other boxes I tried at the time - the speakers would flub out when you turned the volume up.
