TC-999
HELIX 4635
Thanks for looking.
Johnny, nice pictures! One request though - for us, uneducated members, can you maybe put a can of Coke next to those boomboxes for the size reference? They look huge, but it's hard to tell just how huge they are. I haven't seen either one of those in person
AND - I've been drinking since 6pm - so it's hard to understand now why there are two TC-999s and two Helixes in your pics - one of each would be enough
shape up vladi --!!!
you mean you can see all FOUR cans of coke !????
Oh no - I was hoping to see a diet Coke - but there are two Pepsi cans in each picture - what is all that about??
But on a serious note - wow, those are HUGE! I'm sure they sound at least half as good as my Aiwa 880!
Ok, but seriously - wow, they look mean. Helix looks like Conion. But TC-999 looks pretty unique to me - I wouldn't mind getting one of those - when I win a lottery!!
What brand is TC-999? All I can see is the first couple of letters *Te*
Technisonic/Conion... The TC-999 sounds really good, and the FM reception is the best I've heard.
I will soon (Wednesday) have my JC 2000 the biggest box in my collection!
Oh cool! So they are both Conion related? Isn't Helix also Conoin-made?
Yep!
Very nice Johnny!!
arent those boomboxes both actually made by
onyko. i thought onyko made both of these liscenced them to other companies.
Actually, not Onkyo, but Coney-Onkyo - it's a different company than Onkyo
Vladi, for a guy whose been drinking all day, you are one sharp fella!
Coney-Onkyo is correct.
you guys are right.
wasnt there a lot of different boomboxes coney-onkyo put out.
Hmmmmm, not sure about Coney-Onkyo - here in Texas only girls do that (put out). Or not
Ok, I'm gonna go sleep now
G'night!
Wow! Those are a couple of very, very nice blasters Johnny. Congratulations, brother, excellent additions to your collection.
Rock On.
For the most part, I've got 3 more boxes to collect, and that Conion TC-999 is one of those 3...
Yours looks minty fresh!
Thanks for posting!

The "snobbery" appears to be contagious...
