The woofer grilles look quite 'beefy' on that model, especially for a midsize box. Shame most of these models only have a tone control, what does this one have?

so hope is has bass + treble

but it does have a tuning dial light -
and that has been an impossible feature to find on any other box this size --

---or can anyone suggest a mini with a dial light and with B/T controls ?

Me too, RBJ!! It's the ultimate sign of a cheap and small, rubbish box. Bass & Treble controls are much, much better and give the listener much more control over the sound (which I like very much!). Separate Bass & Treble + Loudness is my favourite classic combintation, and a Graphic Equalizer + Loudness is brilliant to play around with!
