vitalxs - 2008-01-07 23:43

Beatbox - an absolutely SUPERB collection!!! And only 1 year of collecting?! I can't imagine your collection in couple years down the road! Smile Glad I am getting a tail of it, since I haven't been here for awhile...

The Sony with ??? marks is a CFS-F5 - nice, quality unit!

Almost every single box is unusual...that is amazing!

I almost wish I haven't seen it... as I now want to find some of those... LOL! Big Grin

Yeah, I basically spent my jobless time at the end of summer scouring the vast quantities of second hand shops here in Berlin. I've relaxed a lot since then. But come summer...

By the way, you wanna trade your Diatone? Big Grin Wink

Picked this up for quite cheap as a package along with a Casio AE-220 watch and some weird Walkman.

It comes complete with a fourth case part and the whole thing clips together to make two heavy as hell suitcases.

I got a whole load of cables with it too.

This is VG to NM. I am a very lucky guy to have been able to test this fully in the guys shop before handing over the dough. A rare treat as most flea markets dont have power terminals, and well, with eBay...

Anyway, this has gone to the top of the list in terms of sheer volume and power. This is actually some sort of PA system. It has a tape, radio, a couple of handles and takes batteries, so to me is definitely the loudest most earth-trembling boombox I have ever heard.

Its literally insane.

Here it is -

fatdog - 2008-01-12 14:42

Sweet!! Didn't Felix pick up one of these not too long ago? Cool

beatbox - 2008-01-12 14:46

Yep. He got his considerably cheaper at only 1 euro!!!!

kittmaster - 2008-01-12 15:46

Yummy collection......well done

noisymute - 2008-01-19 19:50

You freak!

beatbox - 2008-01-28 09:59

A couple of new ones. Both miles apart in terms of build quality, loudness, features, sound, size, just about everything, but both very very worthy. They were badly listed so I got them for peanuts. Not literally, that would be weird.

Anyway, the Watson RR5600. NM

The Sony FZ-7

Wonderful colection i dont know what job you have but it must pay verry well for you to buy such tresures as those ones. Keep on colecting. Cool

beatbox - 2008-02-01 06:20

In all I'd say I've spent about 1000 euros on boxes in total over a year and a quarter. I've owned loads more than this and sold a lot. The hobby mostly pays for itself that way. So over a year thats not really a lot of dough. 84 euros a month for something I truly love and enjoy.

I don't smoke and I drink only on Fridays! I cook mostly at home, don't have a car, get picked up for work and taken home after work and I eat at the Student Union cafeteria where the food is dirt cheap.

My only vice is this hobby.

That piano box does look rather tiny!,
how small is it in cm??

prime - 2008-02-04 21:33

The red tinted window on the front is gorgeous!
Looks way better than an original. Very nice
craftmanship!! Excellent collection. Thanks for
the show!!

Havauxes STPR4000

this is really cool, I've never seen one of those and it's totally different to most things.

isn't there a JVC with a similar feature?
