I got this one from ebay a week or so ago. It is really nice. A rare good honest ebay deal! Packing was average - not st2g approved for sure - but it arrived undamaged and fully working. Here are some pics:
My tuner light stays on all the time when it is powered on. I think it has been modified to do this, right?

Thanks guys! I really got lucky on this one. It is almost perfect, it just has a couple of little marks on the top. I was worried about the bent tape buttons, but when I took it out of the box they were straight again!
Autobot - I wish I had another common box I could compare the sound to. I can't think of any close matches, but it does sound really good. I would say a couple of notches below m70 in sound quality, but definately not a dissapointment in the sound of it.
Vladi, I don't know for sure who makes it - I have seen others with them name nippon or clairtone on them. It would be cool if it was the same factory as conion. Maybe someone else knows this?
Very clean. Jus got 1 on ebay bout a week myself. Looking forward to modding it a bit. led and back lighting. Poss grill change?
Yeah the keys on the 20/20 are weird....not always straight....but when they do, the box is stunning.......glad I have two of them.....
Allen, I recall seeing Nippon brand, and also isn't clairtone was made by the same company as Conion?
The funny thing is that in 15-20 years people might be asking the same questions about Aiwa - anybody else thinks so? Aiwa didn't make a huge variety of things - only audio equipment as far as I know. So they kind of fall under that same category as Conion and others.
Anyhow, that is a super nice looking box - congrats!!
Yes conion and clairtone are the same company and I think helix is too. Maybe rising and nippon are in the same group. Where all all the experts? They must go to bed early to keep their excellent quality brains from getting fried - something I have never needed to worry about!

Nippon YES. Clairtone,Conion,Helix and another brand are a diff company.

i beleieve there is around 7 diff versions. i have 3 clairtone rising international. i think fatdog has a yorx the nippon and something else.

That Clairetone is nicer (to me) it is because it is close looking to a 9494 or 9696 with the grills and the "20"s placed where they are!
