Nice. I came across another JVC on craigslist that looked really close to ours but it had a cd player on top and the person only wanted $10 for it, but it was 25 miles on the other end of town or i would have went to have a look, it was gone within a couple days. Oh well. I wish i could get a hold of the one i have been after for many moons and that has remained elusive all this time, and thats the Sanyo MX650quote:Originally posted by Joe Cool:
Congratulations, a very nice find. This model isn't the loudest, but it does have excellent quality sound, and warm, rich, deep bass. It should clean up nicely.

That's a really nice find actually. It may not be "old school" loud but we don't always want to use excessive volume (depending on our mood). The fact that it has a line-in would have sold it to me .
By the way speaking of loud your Sanyo M9880K certainly qualifies!I love its bright "old school" highs!Bass on that one though tight is not real full. It's a great box for rock!If you ever have a chance to scan the manual,I'd be interested in a copy .
