hey nightwish, this is a great looking machine you got there, tho i have notice that the models L dont have the famous lin in, instead it has the din 5 input, i really like the big volume knob and the very accurate leds,  i do have one and is in great condition too.
looking forward to see the rest of your collection.

Hello Driptip

Thanks for your nice comments on my picture, its had a good clean from me. For your information Driptip my 950L as both the 5 din and line in which I use for my MP3 Player. I have enclosed a picture for your interest. What I also found interesting about the Crown the way the LED Level meters respond to volume and balance control.

Take Care

wow nice , thanks for the pic, are you refering to the PHONO as line in? here in the usa radios have the line in for mp3 players or CD Players and phono for record players,.
either way nice boombox all around, a bit light and not too bassy but very solid unit.
i found mine like 5 years ago and still happy with it.

wow, looks good. would like to add one to my collection!

Yes Driptip I am refering to the phono it works for my mp3 player OK as long as I keep the out put level low on the mp3 player. Line out I think would be better like you mention. But it works fine. I did buy a 5 pin plug with a 3.5 mm jack lead but I cannot get this to work sound is very low.

Have a good day.

i think to get the 5 pin din to work correctly you have to press record/play on the tape deck............
