eric
Thanks stretch..never thought of that but yup the speakers are fresh on this unit..took about 4hrs cleaning them though...
hey man i remember seeing that gorgeous sharp while i was there and loved it then-but you wouldnt part with it lol-nowadays ill be happy to get an m9990 but cant even find that.....that said car boot sales are slowly getting going again for a few boxes-and it helps nowadays going to a huge recycling centre once a week-got a gorgeous roberts rsr55 mini last week and i love it!!!!!
Hey andy thanks blue...I have had people after my gf before lad just had sombody interested a couple of days ago on here....but selling eather or tading eather of these 2 boxes would like selling my soul...so i basically have no money value on eather...i just tell myself there worth a tenner and ill NEVER sell them...thats dispite me being in a lot of debt and my dole being halved..the gf was my best friends fave box and we went to a few places togeather with it....since then he passed away along with my mum last year..it's all i have to remember him by...so thats why i still have these 2 boxes....im not kidding andy I had about 70 superb boxes and 95 percent are gone you remember how many i had lad...well now the place is practically bare...about 7 yrs of collecting and now I only have these 2 good boxes to show for it...and all the money has gone..
Not a bad two boxes to have! top shelf.
Thanks ned lad...I do have a couple more top shelf boxes my friend perhaps i will post them up later today....but yup I dont have many left

retro my friend if you have heard a 777 then you basically have heard the whole gf series...yes the 1000 is better...it's just those beutiful white speakers that have been enhanced and cleaned by me that make the 1000 for me and those outer bars are gone...plus 2 bigger vu's...i mean you must have seen a gf1000 with those faded yellow speakers....man they look awful....thanks for your apriciation my friend..

These were for sale (actually sold) but i have chozen to keep one of them ..one has origonal manual and receipt, thats the one staying...i love em so much, great boxes
" />
And lastly these 2 things...im not sure why people give them such a hard time...yes there lightwaight and mega cheap but to me they sound wonderfull and have plenty of bass...they actually sound better than the sharp gf9000 imho
thanks for looking and i hope you all have enjoyed the picks..altho poor ones..
man you dont need 35 boxes in your living room anyways. keep the cream and jettision the rest. i have two. the JC and the helix in my AV.
damn those Aiwa's are so pretty
Your quite correct ned im quite happy with my much reduced collection
Im keeping both 880's now as iv'e heard nothing from the buyer...but that seuts me fine...so ive got some unboxing to do all over again
I'm just curious about the long throw surrounds on the Marantz woofers in your M90, I've never been a big fan of the stiff accordion surrounds until I purchased my first M90. Did it improve the low frequency response on bass heavy music?
yo retro I diddn't do the refit on this m90...memer hemiguy on the other sight did the refit...but i have also done the same to other m90's to your question yes it does improve the low end quite substantially especially if you play music with extra bass recorded onto it like i do using the jvc pc55..as im sure you know you can do this with the manual record on the 55. when this procidure is followed it Realy does leave any m90 iv'e had with normal speakers in the dust...as normal m90 bass cones just tend to flap and sound bad as they can't handle the extra bass..im not to good at explanation but belive me it's well worth putting better speakers in the m90...
Have you actually seen m90 speakers? im quite sure you have...im quite suprized they sound as good as they do..
You have some real beauties R.R.......
I'm drooling right now in fact.......

Thanks skip...means alot comming from you bro....it's not much of a collection compaired to what I used to have...and I do have more insignificant boxes....but it's not about what other people have to me any more...im just so glad that i have managed to hold onto what I have..these few boxes keep me going from day to day and im just so proud to have them...
i am sorry to hear about your friend and mum, tim-only just revisited this bit again after a while-or else id have offered you my sympathies before this.....under no circumstances should you ever sell these boxes or trade them away.i regret selling mine now and there wasnt any emotional attachment to mine,so live their memory with these boxes-peace,bro.
Thanks andy mate....all i can say lad is that.the good friends and folks you have...make the most of them lad....while you have em...
respect to that tim, man.i miss my grandparents and my first daughter badly.sometimes just wish we could turn back the hands of time.so i could have them.....and my m90/70/9696 etc back.
R.R would love to have those Boombox's any day in my collection surperb Boomer's right there,as for me i feel the same way without my Boomer's,to me that's my link to better times with family and friend's.Peace R.R. PIONEER
