Big thanks to Bredgeo & Eddy who hooked me up with parts I needed for restoration on one of my M90s, M70 & C-100F. Bredgeo is a treasure trove of boombox connections and solutions, my boxes wouldn't be the same without him! I'm building a "Wall of Sound" to display these. Will have it up in the coming months. have every one of those there presently, maybe not the exact model to the letter... but every boombox in that picture above!

Ha! Well the most sentimental value certainly lies with the M90 (middle row right) which I bought brand new when I was 16 with money I earned at my very first job at the grocery store. A bit heavy for a lazy sunday afternoon in the park, but my it makes it out to my back deck regularly. I bought the other M90 at a flea market for $25 in the late 1990's before I was a collector; I just knew what it cost me new and couldn't believe the deal. But to your question, since I've now amassed a stable of boomers, I'd have to say the best one for a Sunday in the park is the M70 with the Lasonic TRC 920 right behind. Portable, old school, look good, and sound good.

I can imagine it's a hell of a choice given your collection but never the less you couldn't go wrong with any of those models!
